Phranakorn Film Co. Ltd. (Thai: บริษัท พระนครฟิลม์ จำกัด) is a movie studio in Thailand. It was established in 2001 by family owned group that runs the Thana Cineplex movie-theater chain. The first film production was Headless Hero in 2002 which had box office earnings of 72 million baht. The private company is operated by the founder and chief executive officer Manot Thanarungroj.

PHRANAKORN FILM is one of the leading companies in Thai film business. We are now completed all sections of film business. For many years we have own local theatres in many provinces in Thailand and since 2001, we are growing up by producing more 20 films to both local and international audiences. Now we are also a home-video distributor to serve home video market.
PHRANAKORN FILM is now one of the leading production company in Thailand who can produce many movie, more than five titles each year. Established in 2001, PHRANAKORN FILM began with their first production released in 2002 for domestic audiences titled, Headless Hero had box-office earnings of 72 million baht, the total sum that broke the record of overall titles released in theatres during that year. In the 2005, The Holy Man was the only title of that year making a record-breaking total of more than 141 million baht and in 2008, Holy Man 2 was the No. 1 movie at the Thai box office.
Since 2005, PHRANAKORN FILM began to import more movies to the international market, as having more genres for distributor selection. Until now there are more 20 movies released to public both in domestic and worldwide.
For increasing more supplies for domestic home video market in Thailand, PHRANAKORN FILM has established an affiliate of the company METRO PRO DISC as the home video distributor. Now we are one of the biggest distributors in Thai home video business. Beside our own products we distribute other studio movies also. In the future we plan to import some good international movies to bigger share market than we did today.
